Error code resolution

SoleusAir AC Error Codes E5 over current protection. Unplug for 10 minutes and then turn the unit on. If “E5” is still displayed, contact customer service.

SoleusAir AC Error Codes H8 backup water tank is full. Dry the water tank.

SoleusAir AC Error Codes F1 room air temperature sensor malfunction .. Notify maintenance man to maintain.

SoleusAir AC Error Codes F2 tube temperature sensor malfunction. Inform the maintenance person to maintain.

SoleusAir AC Problem: air conditioner will not start
Possible reasons:
1. The air conditioner is unplugged or not connected well.
2. The fuse blown / circuit breaker is tripped.
3. power failure
4. The current interruptor device is tripped.
Solution:
1. Ensure that the air conditioner plug has been fully pushed into the outlet
2. Check the home fuse / circuit breaker box and replace the fuses or reset the breaker.
3. The unit will restart automatically when power is restored.
4. Press the RESET button located on the power cord plug.

SoleusAir AC Problem: A / C is not as cold as it should be
Possible reasons:
1. Airflow is restricted
2. Temperature control may not be set correctly.
3. Air filter is dirty
4. Room can be very hot
5. Avoiding Cold Air
6. The evaporator is frozen
Solution:
1. Make sure there is no curtain, blind or furniture in front of the air conditioner.
2. Lower the set thermostat temperature.
3. Clean the filter. See the Cleaning Filters and Manual Care section.
4. Please allow the room to cool after turning on the air conditioner.
5. Check open furnace registers and cold air returns.
6. The unit is defrosting and will resume operation when done.

SoleusAir AC Problem: Air conditioner timer displays time but does not work
Possible reasons: Is time enabled?
Solution: Cancel the time or wait until the unit turns on.
Problem: Remote control is not working
Possible reasons:
1. Batteries are inserted incorrectly
2. Battery may be dead
Solution:
1. Check the battery status.
2. Replace the battery.

SoleusAir AC Problem: LCD display showing “E5”
Possible cause: low voltage protection
Solution: Unplug for 10 minutes and then turn the unit on. If “E5” is still displayed, contact customer service.
Problem: LCD display showing “H8”
Possible reason: the backup water tank is full
Solution:
1. Dig up the water tank
2. If “H8” is displayed even after emptying the water tank, contact customer service.
