Whirlpool AC Error Codes shown: If the error code such as E2, E4, E5, E6, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, H3, H4, H5, PL, PH appears on the indoor unit display, turn on the device And disconnect the power supply, then contact the nearest Whirlpool authorized service center. (H1 and SE are not error codes, H1 is an indicator of defrosting during heating, SE is an indicator of power show function.)
Before calling for service, see the suggestions below to see if you can solve your problem without outside help.

Air conditioner will not start
Probable cause
1. The air conditioner is unplugged.
2. The fuse flew / the circuit breaker tripped.
3. power failure
4. The power cord reset button is tripped.
Recommended solution
1. Ensure that the power supply cord is plugged into the grounded 3 prong outlet.
2. Check the home fuse / circuit breaker box and replace the fuses or reset the breaker.
3. The unit will restart automatically when power is restored. There is a protective time delay      (approximately 3 minutes) to prevent tripping of compressor overload. The unit may not resume

4.  normal cooling for 3 minutes after starting back up.
5. Press the reset button located on the power cord plug. If the reset button will not be busy, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician.

Air conditioner is not cold properly
Probable cause
Airflow restricted
The temperature control is not set correctly.
The air filter is dirty.
The room is very hot.
Cold air is escaping.
The cooling coil is frozen.
Recommended solution
Ensure that there are no curtains, blinds, or furniture blocking the front portion of the air conditioner.
Lower the set thermostat temperature.
Clean the filter. See the “Air Conditioner Care” section.
Allow the room to cool after turning on the air conditioner.
Close all open doors and / or windows where hot air is entering.

The air conditioner is freezing up
Probable cause
Snow is blocking the flow of air.
Recommended solution
Turn off the unit and allow it to melt until the ice melts, then work at a high fan speed. If this continues, contact customer service for additional assistance.

Remote control is not working
Probable cause
Batteries are incorrectly inserted
The daughters are dead.
Recommended solution
Check that the battery is inserted in the right direction.
Replace the batteries and dispose them in a responsible manner.

Water drips from the unit on the outdoor side
Probable cause
The weather is hot and humid.
Recommended solution
This is common during periods of high humidity. Note: Do not drill a hole in the bottom of the metal base pan; Doing so will reduce cooling performance.

Probable cause
The air conditioner is not properly leveled.
Recommended solution
The air conditioner should be sloping slightly downward on the outside. Level the air conditioner to provide a downward sloping outward to ensure proper drainage. See the “Installation Instructions” section. Note: Do not drill a hole in the bottom of the metal base pan; Doing so will reduce cooling performance.

Water collects in the base pan
Probable cause
The moisture extracted from the air is collecting in the base pan.
Recommended solution
It is common. The water that collects in the base pan will evaporate into the outside air. This helps in the cooling process of the unit.
Note: Do not drill a hole in the bottom of the metal base pan; Doing so will reduce cooling performance.
